Product overview
The CameraRibbon Rig is a sturdy, lightweight and compact padded shoulder support for ENG style filming. This rig is primarily used with Sony, Panasonic, Canon, JVC and most OTHER professional cameras of the small to medium camcorder design/form factor (similar to the ones shown in the photos).
The support is made from an unbreakable single bar of 2 inch wide x 1/8 inch thick tempered aluminum also with a full 1 inch thick solid unbreakable handle of tempered aluminum covered with a tapered vinyl grip. CameraRibbon features a lifetime warranty against breakage in normal film, video & television production use.
The CameraRibbon Rig takes the strain off the camera operator's wrist, hands, back and shoulders with a 10mm thick EVA high density padded support aided by an off-set weight located low and on the back of the rig for better weight distribution. Optional accessory dual off-set weights are available.
All Rigs except the Rig R, feature a quick release adapter and camera mounted dovetail plate compatible and interchangeable with Manfrotto, Sachtler Ace, Benro and other 3rd. party tripods, monopods and quick release adapters
